Universal Login System for the Internet
I feel very skeptical about giving all my information to just anyone. Sure you have to show your license to buy alcohol or cigarettes but you get it back and put it in your pocket. It is yours and it is with you at all times. They did not copy it or have enough time to memorize it before giving it back to you. Of coarse some places do require photocopies, but these are very well known and trusted places. Like the RMV, the bank, your insurance company, and of coarse the government. I am against making one form of id to access all kinds of websites. Not all websites are reputable; there are criminals out there. Heck, I could make a website right now and require the universal login. Then I would be able to get all your information and who is going to physically stop me from using it to my advantage? I only want trusted websites to look at my id. For all these third party websites I am going to make up a username that way you do not know all my personal information and if it is required, well then i simply will not open an account with that website. If you have an account with Facebook, Twitter, Google, and/or any other reputable site then these are mostly interchangeable anyway as far as blogging is concerned. Other websites should utilize this feature, but there should not be one universal login system because if this system were to be compromised there would be create a huge dilemma
Net Neutrality
The Internet should always remain neutral. More so than ever, everyone want to be politically correct about everything they do and say so I cannot believe that Comcast and Google are actually pushing for this. This will put small companies out of business for sure. It would make it practically impossible to start up any kind of business or company. In the early 1990’s when the internet was starting people started searching for companies online for information, so companies that did not have a website lost a whole lot of business. Practically everyone here in the US is connected to the Internet or at least has access to it at a library, but now you will not be able to find what you are looking for because Comcast or Google does not want you to see it, that is just not right. Comcast and google should not have the power to regulate what we the people can and can not see. This is unconstitutional and violates so many rights. Whether they block it off completely or make it load very slow, people will get aggravated and go elsewhere to a site ultimately falling into their trap. This is not a good thing at all. This is America, home of the free and brave. What makes Google and Comcast think that this is what the people want? This will only make the rich richer and the poor poorer. If Comcast and Google think they can control the Internet they are living in another dimension.

Do you want your face plastered on the Internet?
I do not care if someone finds me on google, the only thing I do care about is the information that they find out about me. I want to be able to be found by someone if they are looking for me, especially because chances are it pertains to something important. However, I do not want a person to be able to find out my whole entire life story. In other words, I do not want people to be able to find out about my personal life online. I feel that should be kept private. I would not mind having my name, picture, what I have acquired to in life, and broad area in which I live. Anything more than that you would have to find me on a social networking site and friend request me. I would not be willing to give out my personal contact information on google's search engine. If I owned a business that would be different, I may or may not want my face plastered everywhere depending on what the business was. One strong feeling I have id that I definitely would not want my children coming up on any search engines. I feel there should be an age requirement for that. Otherwise google's search engine will turn into a candy store for all the pedophiles. The best way to go about this would be like a phonebook. If you do not want to be in it than pay a small fee and you will remain hidden.
Phishy Results from search engines?
I seldom receive phishy results from search engines. I feel the majority of search results received from search engines are trustworthy and authentic. There are very few and far between misleading search results and websites. I use google’s search engine all the time. Other really good and well-known search engines are yahoo and bing. The reason I like google so m uch is because it has an enormous database and google allows you to narrow down your search by typing in keyword phrases. In the case that I did receive some mischief information I would look at different results and compare the information. I feel this is always good practice. Everyone is familiar with the phrase, "Don't believe everything you hear." Well same goes with the Internet and the search engines, don't believe everything that you read. There are many bogus websites and search results out there, which is still very slim compared to all the information out their as a whole, but you have to look past the misleading information. If you find yourself receiving misleading information all the time, try using a different search engine. Chances are you aren't using google or yahoo. I will continue to use these search engines as long as things remain the way they are. I have never used wrongful information, because I can always tell when information doesn't add up or seems bogus. If it looks like a fish, and smells like a fish, most likely it is a fish, so stay away from the phishy search engines and misleading results!
